Caroline Taylor, Head of Operations at Happy Child International received a warm welcome at Zion Free Church, Pembroke Dock.

Caroline was guest speaker at Pembrokeshire Prayer for the Suffering Church (PPSC) on Tuesday, April 25.

Passionately thanking members for their prayers, Caroline showed a short video and then talked about the the charity’s work supporting underprivileged children and young people in Brazil. Happy Child works through partner projects to lift children and young people out of poverty, running skills courses to put them on track for finding employment. They also do a lot of work supporting teenage mothers.

A fundraising walk will be held on Saturday, June 17. Caroline encouraged people to come alongside the main event in Surrey and organise local walks in aid of Happy Child.

PPSC friends then offered prayers in support of the work, wrote cards to children and gave donations.

Caroline is seen after the meeting with PPSC founders Lynda Richmond and Mick Quirk; Rev’d Hugh and Angela Michael (Zion Free Church) and other praying friends.
