August 2010
Write to the Ambassador to the UK on behalf of our
sisters facing surveillance, harassment and detention in Iran.
Pray for the situation in Faisalabad where brothers Rashid Emmanuel, a pastor, and Sajid Emmanuel, a graduate student, were shot and killed on July 19th as police were transporting them to jail. Local Christians took to the streets in protest over the incident, prompting calls from mosques for Muslims to come out to “fight rampaging” Christians, and "burn the houses of Christians."
Give thanks for the calls for justice from Chief Justice of Lahore High Court Justice Mr. Justice Khawaja Sharif, Shahbaz Bhatti, the Minister for Minority Affairs, and President Asif Ali Zardari
In 1998 Kim Kyung Il became a Christian.
He later became involved with sending refugees to South Korea.
During April 2002, he was caught by the Chinese police and has been
held in prison in China.
He is scheduled to be sent back to North Korea when released from prison in China
where he will probably be executed.
